Applying
Applying is free and doesn't guarantee work. You must be 18 or over and live in the UK. We may ask for examples of your work and verify your social accounts. We'll use your application data as described in our privacy policy.
Your status
You work with us as an independent contractor, not an employee. You're responsible for your own tax and National Insurance. You're free to decline any campaign.
Campaigns and deliverables
- Each campaign comes with a brief. Please follow it, including key messages, claims to avoid and technical specifications (vertical 9:16, good lighting, clear audio, no copyrighted music unless provided).
- Deliver on time. If you can't, tell us as early as possible.
- Revisions within the brief are part of the job. Reshoots needed because the brief wasn't followed are not paid extra.
- Products sent to you are yours to keep unless the brief says they must be returned.
Content standards
- Only say things that are true about your experience with the product. Never make health, medical or results claims that aren't in the brief.
- No third-party branding, music, people or locations you don't have permission to show.
- No offensive, discriminatory, dangerous or illegal content.
- Children should not appear in content unless the brief specifically allows it and you have a parent's or guardian's written consent.
Payment
The fee for each campaign is set out in the Campaign Agreement in pounds sterling. Unless agreed otherwise, we pay within 30 days of the final approved delivery, by bank transfer to a UK account in your name. Please send an invoice (or confirm the payment details we request).
Usage rights
When you're paid, you grant us and the brand the licence described in the Campaign Agreement to use, edit (for length, captions and format) and publish the content, including your name, image, voice and likeness as they appear in it. Unless the Campaign Agreement says otherwise, that licence is worldwide, for organic and paid digital use, for 12 months from delivery.
You keep ownership of your content. Extended terms, whitelisting/Spark Ads from your account, or other uses are only allowed if listed in the Campaign Agreement, and are paid accordingly. We will not use your content to suggest you endorse a product you didn't feature.
Posting on your own account
If a campaign includes posting to your own channels, you must label the post clearly as an advert (for example "#ad" at the start of the caption, or the platform's paid-partnership tool), following ASA and CMA influencer guidance. Keep the post live for the period agreed.
Confidentiality
Keep briefs, unreleased products and campaign details confidential until the brand has launched them publicly.
Ending our work together
Either of us can stop working together at any time. Campaigns already in progress should be finished, or we may agree a partial fee for work done. We may remove you from our network if you seriously or repeatedly breach these terms.
Contact and law
These terms are offered by No Filter UGC. Questions: info@nofilterugc.com. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
