Who we are

We are No Filter UGC and we are the controller of your personal data.

For any privacy question or request, email info@nofilterugc.com.

The data we collect

Brands and enquiries. When you use our quote form, contact form or email, or book a call, we collect your name, work email, phone number, company, website, what you tell us about your project (for example number of videos, industry, channels) and your message. If you arrived from one of our ads, we also record the ad source (such as campaign, keyword and Google click ID), but only if you have accepted advertising cookies or you submit a form during that same visit.

Creators. When you apply as a creator, we collect your name, email, phone number, town or city, social media handles, portfolio links, the content niches you work in and anything else you choose to tell us. If we work together, we also process your postal address (to send products), your bank or payment details and tax information (to pay you), the agreed contract terms, and the content you create, which may include your image, voice and likeness.

Website visitors. Our hosting provider logs technical data such as IP address, browser and pages requested, for security and to keep the site running. With your consent, analytics and advertising cookies collect information about how you use the site. See our cookie policy.

We do not ask for special category data (such as health information). Please don't send it to us.

How we use it and our lawful bases

Delivering UGC projects for brands and managing creatorsPerformance of a contract
Reviewing creator applications and matching creators to campaignsLegitimate interests (building and running our creator network)
Paying creators, invoicing and keeping accounting recordsContract and legal obligation
Analytics and advertising cookies, conversion measurement and retargetingConsent, which you can withdraw at any time
Business-to-business marketing emails about our servicesLegitimate interests; you can opt out at any time using the link in each email
Security, fraud and spam prevention, and handling legal claimsLegitimate interests and legal obligation

Where we rely on legitimate interests, we have balanced our interests against your rights. You can ask us for details of that assessment.

Who we share data with

We never sell your personal data. We share it only with:

  • Service providers who process data for us under contract: website hosting, email and document storage (Google Workspace, including Google Sheets for our lead log), spam protection (Cloudflare Turnstile) and call booking (Calendly).
  • Analytics and advertising partners (Google Analytics, Google Ads and Meta), but only if you have accepted the relevant cookies.
  • Our affiliated operations team in Türkiye, which helps run our projects and creator management under contract with us.
  • Brands we work with: if you are a creator selected for a campaign, we share your name, social handles, relevant portfolio links and the content you create with that brand.
  • Creators: if you are a brand, we share the brief, product details and a delivery contact with the creators on your project.
  • Professional advisers, authorities and successors, where required by law or as part of a business sale or restructure.

International transfers

Some providers process data outside the UK, mainly in the United States and the European Economic Area, and part of our operations team is based in Türkiye. Where a country does not have a UK adequacy decision, we rely on appropriate safeguards: the UK Extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework where the recipient is certified, or the ICO's International Data Transfer Agreement or the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. Contact us for a copy of the relevant safeguards.

How long we keep it

  • Enquiries and quotes that don't become projects: up to 24 months after our last contact.
  • Creator applications: up to 24 months after the application, or until you ask us to remove you.
  • Client and creator contracts, invoices and payment records: 6 years after the end of the financial year they relate to (HMRC and limitation periods).
  • Content created for brands: for as long as the agreed licence lasts, plus 6 years for our records.
  • Cookie data: see our cookie policy.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to:

  • access a copy of your personal data;
  • have inaccurate data corrected;
  • have your data erased in certain circumstances;
  • restrict or object to our processing, including objecting to direct marketing at any time;
  • data portability, where processing is based on consent or contract and carried out by automated means;
  • withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing that has already happened.

To use any of these rights, email info@nofilterugc.com. We will reply within one month. We do not make decisions about you based solely on automated processing.

Complaints

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, please contact us first so we can try to put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK supervisory authority: ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint, or call 0303 123 1113.

Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls and only keeping data for as long as we need it. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

Our services are for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly work with creators under 18 or collect data from children. If you think a child has given us their data, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed. If we make significant changes, we'll highlight them on this page.
